Scots workers struggling to cope

Are you struggling to cope in work? Well if you are you're in the same boat as a two thirds of Scots workers - who admit to coasting and struggling in the workplace.

A third said they didn’t feel their well-being was important to their employer whilst 8 in 10 said they thought the level of employee well-being in their organisation to be moderate or low.

Meanwhile, 1 in 5 UK workers say their job doesn’t allow them enough time to exercise and lead a healthy lifestyle, despite 89% saying it is important for them to have a balance between work life and personal life.

Nearly a third of respondents also admitted their job has a negative impact on their mental health.

Furthermore, 1 in 5 UK workers admit that their financial concerns are regularly affecting their ability to concentrate at work.

The research highlights that UK workers are left feeling stressed as a quarter admit they struggle to manage pressures of the workplace.

1 in 5 said that negative attitudes from colleagues at work or their managers hinder their ability to balance work and family commitments.
