Published 5th Jan 2016

As the search for a missing Annbank pensioner resumes today police are asking you to check sheds, garages and out buildings.

70-year old Graham Johnstone left his home on Whitehill Crescent on New Years Day at 10.40am - but failed to return home.

The keen walker is thought to have been spotted near the Oswald Bridge area that day - police want to know if you were in the area then.

Mr Johnstone is around 5 ft 8 inches in height, with a medium build, grey hair, slightly balding, is clean shaven and wears glasses.

He was wearing a black zipped top, beige trousers, and a fawn coloured cardigan. He may also be wearing a hat.

Air and foot searches will continue today.
