Police name pensioner who died in Ayrshire crash

Police have named a man who died after a two-car crash in South Ayrshire.
Neill Mackie, 76, died after his Ford Mondeo was involved in a collision on Sunday at about 2.05am on the A70 at Coylton.
Mr Mackie, from Ayr, was taken to Ayr Hospital with serious injuries but died a short time later.
A 34-year-old man, who was driving a Range Rover, has been reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with alleged road traffic offences
