Police appeal for help to trace 12-year-old Ayrshire girl
Officers are concerned for Jamie Lee Harvey who has gone missing before
Police are are appealing for information to help trace a young girl who has gone missing in Ayrshire.
Jamie Lee Harvey, who is 12, last seen in Irvine High Street on Friday at around 1.40pm. She is described as being 5ft tall, of slim build with long brown hair.
When last seen she was wearing black leggings, a grey hooded jumper, a black body warmer and black trainers.
Inspector Michael Cowan said: “Jamie Lee has been reported missing before, but given her age we are growing increasingly concerned for her.
"She does have friends in Irvine, Kilwinning and Stevenston areas of Ayrshire and may have travelled there.
“Extensive enquiries have been ongoing to trace her and we are now appealing for the help of the public.
"I would appeal to anyone who knows where Jamie Lee is, or has seen someone matching her description, to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting 2480 of Friday, 30 June, 2023."
