NHS Ayrshire & Arran 'One Of Worst' For Meeting A&E Targets

A Kilmarnock hospital has one of the poorest records in Scotland for meeting A&E treatment targets.

Crosshouse treated 86.8 per cent of patients within four hours.

The target is 95 per-cent and the Scottish average was 92.8 per-cent – whilst NHS England met the 95 per-cent target.

Ayr Hospital treated 89.2 per cent.

Labour’s Shadow Health secretary Jenny Marra said Scotland is not doing well enough.
