A mystery musician who went viral on social media playing the piano outside a shop in Manchester has been tracked down and brought to Ayrshire.

30 year-old Christopher Scamp's video this week has had over 9-million views online.

The Liverpool man is reported to have played for two hours including in his set Faithless’ Insomnia’, Alice DJ’s ‘Better Off Alone’, ‘Every Time We Touch’ by Cascada , ‘Still D.R.E.’ by Dr Dre ft. Snoop Dogg and ‘Changes’ by 2Pac.

Christopher said: 'I was just watching past a shop and noticed a piano and just started playing on it. And within half an hour I was getting messages saying 'Is that you?' because I had my hood up. It's unbelievable the amount of views and comments it's had.'

'It helps me feel better with every thing. It helps with stress and anxiety. It just gets me by basically. If I've got a piano I'm happy.'

His video was such a hit that Steven Brown, the McCoo artist, brought him to Trump Turnberry to play the grand piano on Wednesday night and streamed it online to thousands of viewers.
