Police seek public help in search for missing Jamie-Lee Harvey

12-year-old Jamie-Lee has been missing since Tuesday afternoon.

Police are appealing for the public’s assistance to help trace a missing 12-year-old from Ayr.

Last sighting

Jamie-Lee Harvey was last seen around 3.30pm on Tuesday, 14 March, at Ayr train station, boarding a train towards Glasgow.

Officers believe she left the train at Irvine, and is currently in the Irvine area.

Description of Jamie-Lee

Jamie-Lee is described as being 5ft tall, of medium build, with long light brown-coloured hair.

She was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket, black jumper, black leggings and black trainers.

Jamie-Lee was last seen boarding a train in Ayr on Tuesday.

Police Appeal

Sergeant Fraser Chisholm of Ayr Police Office said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen Jamie-Lee or has any information on her whereabouts to contact us.

“We understand that Jamie-Lee may have frequented the Irvine area and was last seen boarding a train from Ayr.

“We urge anyone who may have had a sighting of her to come forward.”
