Message of hope found in donated clothes for Syrian refugees
An anonymous donor from Ayrshire left a message of hope for fleeing Syrian refugees in the pocket of a jacket.
The discovery was made when volunteer Angela Kerrigan from Kilmarnock was sorting through donated clothes that she plans to hand over to Cal-aid.
The message read:
'We are strangers.
I don't know who you are but please stay strong.
Politics have failed you.
But people will save you.
We all sleep under the same sky.'
Angela's now encouraging children to leave messages of hope for other kids with toys they have donated.
