Police are appealing for witnesses after pedestrian was struck in Kilwinning
A man has died after being hit by a car in North Ayrshire.
It happened on Old Glasgow Road in Kilwinning at 6am yesterday. Emergency services raced to the scene and the pedestrian was taken to hospital, but he sadly passed away a short time after.
A Police Spokesperson said: “Around 6am on Monday, 23 October, 2023, police received a report of a road crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle on Old Glasgow Road, Kilwinning.
“Emergency services attended and one man was taken to hospital where he later died. His family has been informed. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.”
