Homes, holidays and hot tubs are just some of the luxury buys that have been at the top of lottery winners' shopping lists when they become millionaires.

With more than £33 million in their pocket, here is what the latest Lotto winners could buy with their huge win.

The Scottish couple could buy 28 £1.18 million flats in Westminster, London, the UK's most expensive area, or they could opt for 292 £113,000 houses in the cheapest - Londonderry, Northern Ireland.

If they fancy doing up their current home or treating friends and family, they could afford 2,200 £15,000 kitchen makeovers or 6,600 £5,000 bathroom refits.

The lucky pair could drive away with 156 £211,000 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadsters or 275 £120,000 Audi R8s.

If luxury caravans are their thing, they could buy 1,650 priced at £20,000. The £33 million jackpot could buy 3,300 plush £10,000 hot tubs or build 1,320 £25,000 swimming pools.

They could go on an all-inclusive two-week summer holiday to Florida 6,600 times, based on the price of £5,000 for two people.

Or if they fancied going even bigger and better, they could go on an £80,000 round-the-world cruise in a penthouse suite for 130 nights 412 times.

They could purchase a 16-strong fleet of small private jets costing £2 million a pop or the record-breaking win would buy just one 100ft luxury yacht at £20 million - with £11 million left over.

If the world's most expensive hotel is more their thing, they could blow the lot by staying in the £53,000-a-night Royal Penthouse Suite in the President Wilson Hotel in Geneva for just 622 days.
