Locke Wants To See Better Killie Home Form

Kilmarnock manager Gary Locke has told his team it is time they sorted out their home form.

Killie return to Ladbrokes Premiership duty at Rugby Park for the first time since their second 4-0 home defeat of the season, when they host St Johnstone on Saturday.

Embarrassing losses against Dundee and Ross County, which sandwiched a draw against Celtic, will ensure an air of trepidation among the Killie fans on Saturday.

But the Ayrshire side got off the foot of the table with a late win over Dundee United last weekend and Locke wants them to build on their first league victory.

If you're going to have a good season you need to do well at home,'' he said.

So far the Celtic game was a really pleasing performance, so we have shown we are capable of playing well here, but obviously we are trying to forget about the other couple of games because they were poor, poor performances.

Hopefully with the win last week, and the new lads have settled in a bit now, we can get a result and build on last week.

There's no point winning at a really difficult venue and then not winning your home games. We are well aware how difficult it's going to be, St Johnstone are a top side and consistently do well every year. They have threats all over the place.''
