Kilmarnock man jailed for attack on ex-girlfriend

A Kilmarnock man has been sentenced to 23 months in prison for attacking his ex-girlfriend while she was sleeping.

28 year-old Ross McFadzean pled guilty to carrying out the brutal assault last December which left the woman with permanent facial scars.

He also pled guilty to attacking two men with a belt during the violent outburst.

He was sentenced to nearly two years in jail at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court and is banned from contacting the woman for 2 years.
