A hunt is underway in Ayr for a vulnerable 57 year old woman who's gone missing from Ailsa Hospital.

Annalisa Landymore-Lim disappeared around 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon.

She takes regular medication and Police don’t think she has it with her.

She is described as 5ft 6 tall, slim build with brown curly permed hair and blue eyes. When last seen she was wearing black trousers, black zipper top, black walking boots and was carrying a black ruck sack.

Inspector Brian Anderson at Ayr Police Office said:

“Annalisa is currently receiving treatment within Ailsa Hospital and uses medication on a daily basis. As time passes we believe that she does not have access to the medication and therefore we are becoming increasing concerned for her safety and wellbeing.

“I appeal to anyone who has seen her since Monday afternoon or anyone who knows of her present whereabouts to contact Police Scotland on 101. I also appeal to Annalisa herself to make contact to confirm she is safe and well.”
