They arrived at the premises in Ayr Road, Irvine in Ayrshire within four minutes of the alarm being raised at 12.58pm on Tuesday, 22 March.
Crews are currently working with Police Scotland to evacuate the immediate area.
The evacuations are a precautionary measure.
Firefighters say they are aware of the presence of acetylene within the premises.
