Scottish village sealed off after man found dead near chemical spillage
The village of Terregles near Dumfries has been sealed off until the nature of the substance is established.
A village near Dumfries has been sealed off after the body of a man was found near a chemical spillage.
Police were called out around 12pm to reports of a man unconscious near the Old Glen.
A 100 metre exclusion zone has been set up around the cottage until the nature of the substance is established.
A number of roads around the village have been closed with locals asked to avoid the area.
The man's death is being treated as unexplained.
