Colin & Zoe's favourite things about the West FM Waverley Cruise

There are so many different reasons why the West FM Waverley Cruise is so popular year after year.

Here are some of the things Colin McArdle and Zoe Kelly love so much about it!

Colin McArdle

1. The engine room! It's an amazing sight to see the massive steam engine that powers the Waverley. You can even see the paddles pulling her through the water. The heat and smell in the engine room is unreal! 2. The View The beautiful Ayrshire coastline from a viewpoint you never normally see. On the deck we've taken in sights such as Arran, Turnberry and Ailsa Craig up close. 3. The Soundtrack And not just the great live music and DJ sets on board! The unique sound of the paddle steamer “chugging” away as you cruise the Ayrshire coast is just awesome.

4. The People It's a great atmosphere and brilliant to see so many friendly Ayrshire faces on board, having a great night in (hopefully!) the sunshine.

Zoe Kelly

1. Colin's ‘bangin’ tunes! He always gets the crowd jumping and rocks the boat with his dance anthems! 2. The view from the top deck It’s nice to take a break from all the dancing and head up to the top deck to admire the sunset, the beautiful Ayrshire coast and smell the sea air! 3. The steamy windows! If the windows down below are steamy by the end of the cruise – that's the result of a great time had by all!
