Body found in search for missing Ardrossan man
Jim Larmour hasn't been seen since leaving his home on October 11th
Police searching for missing Ardrossan man Jim Larmour have confirmed they’ve found a body.
A large scale operation had been launched to find try and find the 44-year-old, who hadn’t been seen since leaving his home on the town’s McDowall Avenue on Wednesday October 11th.
On Friday morning at around 11:40, officers pulled the body of a man from the river near Loanhead Road in Ardrossan.
Formal identification is yet to take place, but Police Scotland have told us they believe the body is that of Jim.
His family have been informed, and a post-mortem examination is due to take place in the coming days.
