A Beith man who thought he was grooming a 15 year-old boy was caught by a policeman posing as the youngster.
A Beith man who thought he was grooming a 15 year-old boy was caught by a policeman posing as the youngster.
68 year-old Antonius Van Hesteren was arrested after officers were tipped off about his online activities by his potential victim in April.
Van Hesteren admitted the offences, sentence was deferred for background reports and he was remanded in custody.
His name was added to the Sex Offenders Register at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
