Whitney Carter demands to know if Callum Highway is cheating

Coming up on EastEnders next week, Whitney Carter notices Callum Highway's odd behaviour and questions whether he's having an affair - is he?

Meanwhile there's a dramatic week ahead for the Carter family and it all begins with Linda Carter worrying about her smear test results.

Elsewhere Mick Carter lies to Mitch Baker about his results from the doctor but as things begin to take a toll on the landlord he ends up collapsing again.

What's wrong with Mick?

Elsewhere Iqra Ahmed reveals she's in a relationship with someone, Kush Kazemi reluctantly moves into the Slater house and Bobby Beale questions Max Branning.

Also Sheree continues to get on Denise Fox's nerves and Bex Fowler receives her A-level results.

EastEnders spoilers: Monday 12 – Friday 16 August 2019

A lady named Vicky arrives on the Square searching for Callum and when she manages to track him down she delivers some heart-breaking news – her brother and Halfway's former army colleague - Chris has died.

Callum struggles to process the devastating news and Vicki invites him to attend the memorial the next day. As the pair say their goodbyes they share an emotional moment but are unaware that Whitney is watching…

The next day, Callum struggles to focus on work and decides to leave without telling anyone and attend the memorial.

He then begins to feel overwhelmed and rushes out of the memorial and back to the Square. While he tries to gather his thoughts, Whitney rushes over and demands to know what's happening.

She then jumps to conclusions and questions whether he's having an affair. He finally opens up and reveals his friend has died.

Whitney tries to support her fiancé as best as she can and while he struggles to hold it together he decides to head back to the memorial.

Following a rocky few weeks, Stuart tries to make things right with a reluctant Rainie Branning. He manages to help her out following a tricky situation with her estranged husband Max and she manages to come around to the idea of reuniting.

While Linda is worried about her smear test results, Mick lies to his pal Mitch and tells him the doctors gave him the all clear after collapsing at the football match.

Later on in the week, Mick struggles to breathe but keeps his friends and family in the dark… Stuart tries to make amends with Mick and become pals again but the landlord is not interested.

Soon after when Stuart goes to leave, Mick collapses. It's not long before the landlord calls out to Stuart who is alarmed when he sees his best pal struggling to breathe on the floor.

While Stuart rings the ambulance, Linda worries about her husband's whereabouts – how will she react when she discovers his health is deteriorating?

The Ahmed family prepare for Eid but things are off to a bad start when Habiba, Iqra and Adam struggle to remain civil.

When Mariam notices the tension, she demands to know what's going on but Iqra distracts the family by revealing she's seeing someone.

Habiba thinks her sister is lying but when they step outside, Iqra confesses that she's actually in a relationship.

As Habiba begins to question her sister about her partner, she then confides in Honey Mitchell and reveals she had no idea what was happening in her sister's life.

Mariam and Arshad scold Iqra for not telling them she's seeing someone but luckily Habiba saves the day by making up an excuse so they can both leave.

After a heart-to-heart with her sister, Habiba then thanks Honey for helping her.


Honey has an unsettling conversation with Iqra which results in her telling Will and Janet to pack their things. However when Adam arrives she tells them they're going away together without the children – what is she up to?

Iqra apologises for lying to Mariam and Arshad but when they insists she invite her partner over for dinner, she decides enough is enough and moves into Robbie Fowler's spare room.

Over to the Slater household and Kat Moon finally spills all and tells Kush Kazemi why Stacey and Martin Fowler left the Square leaving him furious.

He then has a change of heart and returns to the Slaters with all his bags – he's moving in just in case Phil comes looking.

Jean Slater goes for an update on her chemotherapy treatment but while she waits for her appointment, Daniel is there and immediately irritates her.

The next day she spots Daniel looking distraught and decides to offer an olive branch and take him out for a coffee.

Over to Bobby and he has doubts about joining the Ahmed family for Eid but following a conversation with Iqra he decides to join the celebration.

At home, Bobby tries to explain his decision to practice Islam to Kathy and Ian. As Ian struggles to process Bobby's news, Kathy puts him in his place and gives him a reality check.

Ian then suggest that he and Bobby sit down and have a talk over dinner. However despite Ian's efforts, Bobby tries to avoid having the conversation and stays at work.

Kathy is worried when she discovers Bobby failed to turn up to dinner. She rings him but he wakes up in the restaurant after sleeping there for the night.

When Bobby spots Max and Ruby Allen together, he asks Max whether he ever loved his sister Lucy Beale. Max is left feeling unnerved.

The next day Max confronts Bobby but when he leaves the teenager upset, he opens up about his relationship with his sister. In the Café, Callum sees how upset Bobby is and after introducing himself he then goes on to offer the teen some advice.

The week for Sonia Fowler starts with her looking at Bex's laptop and discovering that she's looking at alternative options for university. She then shares her fears with Stuart, who tries to calm her down.

Later on in the week Bex receives her A-Level results and while she contemplates what she really wants, Sonia anxiously waits to see how her daughter did in the exams.

Sheree hasn't been in Walford long but she continues to make herself at home at Denise's salon. She continues to rub Denise the wrong way when she suggests entering a hair dressing competition.

Over to the Atkins household and Lola Pearce tells Gray he should encourage his wife to enter the hair dressing competition. Chantelle and Lola are ecstatic when he gives his blessing.

Before any of the above happens, here's all the drama in store for the EastEnders residents this week...

Poor Phil Mitchell was left for dead after Stacey Fowler hit him over the head in the Arches and this week everyone is scrambling around trying to cover the truth.

Despite one resident getting arrested, others begin to point fingers...

Elsewhere Mick Carter feels the pressure with his family and The Vic but things take a turn for the worse when he collapses at the kids football match...

Meanwhile Callum struggles writing his wedding vows, Chantelle panics when she spots a picture of herself online promoting Whitney's clothing empire and Iqra spots Habiba and Adam together.
