Jeremy Clarkson has said he wouldn’t allow The Grand Tour co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May on his farming show ‘in a million years’.

The 61-year-old’s new series Clarkson’s Farm has been a huge success since its release on Amazon Prime Video last month, becoming the streaming platform’s highest-ever rated show.

It was confirmed on 21st July that the popular show would be back for a second series, with fan favourites tractor driver Kaleb, stone wall expert Gerald, advisor Charlie and Jeremy's partner and farm shop keeper Lisa.

However, the former Top Gear host has revealed his old pals Richard and James would not be joining the gang on his 1000-acre Diddly Squat Farm in Chipping Norton.

After he announced the series would be returning to Amazon Prime Video, Jeremy took to Twitter to address his loyal fans.

He wrote: ‘All the team are back – Cheerful Charlie, Lisa, Gerald, and the foetus in a tractor.’

However, when one fan asked: ‘Can we get a cameo from @RichardHammond and Captain Slow?’ Jeremy replied with a very stern response: ‘Not in a million years.’

Another follower suggested that the trio replace the race track for the farm track, with Jeremy, Richard and James competing in a tractor race on the farm.

Jeremy said: ‘It’s not that kind of show.’

Series one of Clarkson’s Farm is available on Amazon Prime.
