One Direction & Ellie Goulding Up For BRITs Twitter Vote Award

The British Video Award is voted for on Twitter

The five nominees for the revived best British video BRIT Award have been revealed.

One Direction’s ‘Best Song Ever’, Ellie Goulding’s ‘Burn’, John Newman’s ‘Love Me Again’, Calvin Harris ft. Ellie Goulding’s ‘I Need Your Love’ and Naughty Boy ft. Sam Smith’s ‘La La La’ will all battle it out for the honour next week.

Unlike all the other awards, the British Video honour will be decided on the night via the first ever BRITs social vote.

From when the ceremony opens at 8pm on Wednesday 19th February, fans watching the show on television and YouTube across the globe can vote exclusively on Twitter using unique hashtags advertised on the show.

Only one hashtag will be counted per Twitter user and the winner will be announced live on the night!

Disclosure and Bastille lead the nominations charge at this year’s BRIT Awards with four nods each.

Rudimental, Ellie Goulding, Arctic Monkeys, John Newman, One Direction, Laura Mvula, Tom Odell and music legend David Bowie have all picked up two nominations each.

The will also be special live performances from Arctic Monkeys, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Bastille, Rudimental, Ellie Goulding, Lorde,Disclosure and Pharrell Williams.
