Olly Murs Parodies Robbie Williams' 'Angels' Video
'Hand on Heart' has a special cameo from Robbie himself !
Olly Murs has paid homage to his close mate Robbie Williams by parodying the classic ‘Angels’ video!
Just like ‘Angels’ 16 years earlier, the ‘Hand on Heart’ video is shot in moody black and white and filmed in a barren cityscape, heath and beach, while Olly is even wearing the exact same clobber as Robbie!
As the video nears its finale, Robbie himself makes a surprise cameo when Olly kicks a football at him. Check it out here:
Robbie said: “Imitation is the highest form of flattery. I am easily flattered, and I love Olly. We always have a good time together and this was no exception.” Olly added: “I was really excited by the idea for this video and to get Rob involved was important to me. We had great fun filming it and I am so pleased it’s got his stamp of approval.” ‘Hand on Heart’ is taken from the special edition of Olly’s number one selling double-platinum album ‘Right Place Right Time’, released on Monday 25th November.
