WATCH: Snowboarder doesn't realise she's being chased by a bear

The scary footage was caught on her camera

A snowboarder has shared the moment she was making her way down a slope, blissfully unaware that a bear was chasing her.

Kelly Murphy was at the Hakuba 47 ski resort in Japan and was so busy singing along to Rihanna’s ‘Work’ that she didn’t realise she was in danger.

She claims she only realised it when she looked back through her videos. On her YouTube page she wrote ‘OMG! I was going through my snowboarding videos and I found a bear chasing me!!! I nearly got eaten!!! This was at Hakuba 47 in Japan, filmed yesterday! Be careful people!!!’.

Can you spot it?

However, some have said it's not real. One viewer, Will Tye, said: "The bears movement and perspective are just a bit off with where and how it's moving in the video. Also this was filmed at a ski resort in the middle of Japan and the brown bears they have over there only live on the northernmost island."

He went on to explain that only black bears tend to be found in that location where she was snowboarding.

It's not the first time we've been fooled by shocking videos, just like this one that allegedly shows a Golden Eagle snatching a child.
