Viewers of popular daytime shows This Morning and Loose Women were outraged after the programmes were cancelled for extended coverage of Brexit.
The broadcaster made the decision to cancel the shows after this morning’s historical vote which will see the UK leave the European Union.

Following the result Prime Minister David Cameron has announced he is set to step down in October after the recent vote brought the highest turn out for a national poll since 1992.
Both shows are set to return to their usual slots on Monday morning.
