It's time to get down your shed and start designing your robot - much loved game show Robot Wars is returning to our screens!
The BBC confirmed that six brand new hour-long specials will be made, featuring a new structure with more robots, more battles and more science than ever before! The show will be recorded in a new purpose-built fighting arena in Glasgow, allowing spectators and viewers at home to be close to the action.
The first show aired over a decade ago presented by Craig Charles and technology has definitely advanced since then. Viewers can expect to see more innovative fighting as teams of amateur robot designers battle it out.
