The This Morning team might have only been back from their summer break for one day, but they have already got an award under their belt.

This Morning was presented with the Best Daytime Show at the TV Choice Awards last night, which also saw Taylor Swift's beau Tom Hiddleston pick up Best Actor and Dame Barbara Windsor presented with the Outstanding Contribution to Television award.

Philip Schofield, TV presenter and co-host of This Morning dedicated the show's award to agony aunt Denise Robertson who had appeared on the show since its beginning in 1998.

Denise Robertson was well loved on the show and sadly passed away earlier this year at the age of 83 having been diagnosed with cancer.
