One Republic release brand new single ‘Wherever I Go’

American pop/rock band One Republic have released their brand new single ‘Wherever I Go’.
The single will be the first track from the band's hugely anticipated fourth studio album which is set for release later in the year.
The new track was written and produced by popular frontman, Ryan Tedder, along with Brent Kutzle and Noel Zancanell and a video for the soulful song is expected to premiere on Vevo on May 17th.
In a clever promotional campaign, the band first announced the release of ‘Wherever I Go’ by sending out hand-written postcards to fans across the world.
The postcards asked fans to snap their favourite picture with the card in and upload it with the hashtag #WhereverIGo.
The band have since been teasing the song on Twitter leading up to its release and now we can finally hear it in full!
The new album, which is expected later this year has been described as “new, modern, different and unlike anything we’ve done” by the band. It will be One Republic’s first release since there platinum album, Native, which features mega hits such as ‘If I Lose Myself’, ‘Love Runs Out’ and number one single ‘Counting Stars’.
