Could One Direction be splitting up for good?

Fans of One Direction went into meltdown last year when the news broke they were going on a break, but now reports suggest the band could be splitting up for good.
According to Us Weekly a source close to the band has reportedly claimed “the band decided not to renew their contracts” after their On The Road Again tour came to an end in August last year.
Many speculated this could be the case after the initial hiatus announcement, but these rumours were quickly put to bed when band members Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson took to Twitter to reassure fans.
However none of the band have confirmed or denied the fresh rumours up to this point.
So with former member Zayn Malik set to release a solo album, and Harry Styles admitting to getting vocal coaching, could it be true?
