Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson has hit back at her ex-boyfriend Ricky Rayment after he made claims about her partying lifestyle.

Earlier in the week, the former TOWIE star admitted Marnie’s partying lifestyle and drinking was ‘probably what split us up’.

Now, the 24-year-old CBB star has fired back and she doesn’t seem to be too pleased with her ex.

Taking to Twitter, Marnie wrote ‘And your still selling stories on me why. Embarrassing. SplitUp2YearsAgoMate AWKS’ (sic).

Marnie and Ricky seemed totally loved up with each other last year and even announced their engagement back in June. However, just three months later their fairy-tale ended with Marnie calling the relationship ‘the biggest mistake of my life’.

In more positive news for the Geordie girl, it seems her relationship with Lewis Bloor is going well despite fans thinking the pair had split last week.

Fans of the couple were left thinking it was over when Marnie deleted all trace of Lewis from her Instagram account. However, she later told the Loose Women panel her actions were ‘stupid’ and insisted she deleted the pictures following an argument with Lewis.

She said, “It’s tough because we live so far away from each other. We had an argument and I deleted every single picture of him from Instagram. Now I'm like 'why did you that?' We’re working through it.”

The 24-year-old also admitted that things haven’t been as simple as she thought since the couple left the house. She added, “Things on the outside are just completely different. It's just back to basics for us. I haven't cared about anyone the way I care about Lewis. I'm 100% in love with him."
