Katie Price shuts down rumours she's split from MAFS UK's JJ Slater

Whilst some celebrities are just destined to be together, every so often, two famous faces strike up a relationship which takes the entire showbiz world by storm, and it's safe to say that's exactly what happened with Married At First Sight UK star JJ Slater, and former glamour model Katie Price!
Are Katie Price and JJ Slater dating?
At the start of February 2024, The Mirror reported that JJ and Katie were spotted together at a bar in Newcastle, looking very cosy and holding hands as they enjoyed a spot of karaoke in the city.
A source told the publication at the time: "He came in after her and they sat together for at least an hour. They looked very cosy together, especially when she rested her arm on his shoulder."
HOWEVER, it sounds like JJ's MAFS co-star Georges Berthonneau didn't exactly have faith in the apparent relationship.
Speaking exclusively to our friends at Closer, Georges, who recently split from co-star Peggy Rose Lawrence, said: “JJ is the biggest ladies’ man. He’s made a ton of money, so he only hangs out with models now. Katie will be obsessed with him – she’s known to love Essex guys and he’s all about that vibe.
"She’ll end up heartbroken because he definitely won’t be in it for the long run. He’ll want a younger, newer model soon enough. They both need to be with someone in the limelight to raise their profiles, so it’s probably a mutually beneficial situation for now. He wants to keep his name out there.”
Following Katie's split from former fiancé Carl Woods in 2023, Katie and JJ have reportedly been 'texting every day', with reports saying JJ is the first man the mum-of-five has been interested in since the split.
What have Katie and JJ said?
Despite keeping silent on the rumours for a number of weeks, Katie and JJ officially broke their silence, seemingly confirming they were dating on Sunday 25th February.
Taking to Instagram at the time, Katie shared a loved-up photo alongside JJ, writing: 'They say things happen for a reason , the unexpected happened . Fate . Ticks every box . @johnjoeslater you have proved to me you are a real gentleman and completely except me for me ❤️'. (sic)
JJ commented on the snap, writing: 'Fate… thank you so much for being you 🤍', before sharing his own photo alongside his new girlfriend.
Posting a photo from a recent skiing trip together, JJ wrote: 'Sometimes its when you least expect it 💕' (sic)
Katie commented on the photo, writing: 'Your perfect ❤❤'. (sic)
JJ's MAFS UK co-stars were quick to comment on the photos, Peggy Lawrence wrote: 'Yessssss….My favourites 😍❤🙌 xxxxx', with Brad Skelly adding: 'Love this 🔥❤'. Luke Worley then commented: 'I LOVE THIS!! 💙❤️'.
In early-March, the pair shared more photos together on social media as they enjoyed a night out together in London.
Are Katie and JJ still together?
Recently rumours have suggested the pair had split, but Katie has now put an end to the rumours with a very telling caption.
Sharing a photo of herself in a black lace dress, Katie wrote: 'Celebrating JJ’s birthday 🖤 Dress by @jyyldn Makeup by me'. (sic)
Fans were quick to comment on the photo expressing their love for the couple's relationship.
One wrote: 'This is what it looks like when your in a healthy and happy relationship ❤️ beautiful', with another writing: 'Jj is the best thing to happen to you in a long time I really hope you two make it to forever'. (sic)
A third wrote: 'You're looking great, and that smile says it all. It's so nice to see you happy', with another adding: 'You look lovely,I think JJ is good for you ,you seem happy 😊'. (sic)

Who was JJ with on MAFS UK?
Whilst Katie Price has been in relationships with the likes of Peter Andre, Kieran Hayler, Kris Boyson and Carl Woods over the years, JJ is known for his stint on E4 reality show Married At First Sight UK.
JJ appeared on the 2023 series as a late arrival, where he was matched with Bianca Petronzi by the experts. As fans of the hit show will know, things didn't go to plan for JJ and Bianca, with the pair finding zero connection during their honeymoon.
Things then took another twist when JJ had an 'affair' with co-star Ella Morgan, with the pair being allowed to re-enter the experiment as a new couple.
Despite the couple remaining in the experiment until the end, JJ and Ella chose to remain just friends during the final vow ceremony.
In the weeks and months following the show, fans were convinced JJ was dating co-star Laura Vaughan, after the pair posted a number of cosy snaps on social media.
