Hollyoaks actress Sarah George hits back at body shamers

Hollyoaks actress Sarah George has slammed the body shamers who called her ‘fat’ and said she ‘looked pregnant’.
The actress, who plays Celine McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, took to social media to express her anger at the situation.
The body shaming began a few weeks ago when viewers of the show noticed her on-screen character had gained weight in recent scenes. After Sarah uploaded a photo to her Instagram page dressed as her character, cruel internet trolls commented on the photo with abuse.
After posting the message fans of Sarah were quick to have her back and sent her supportive messages, including Coronation Street star, Katherine Tyldesley.
Sarah appears on Hollyoaks weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
