Heidi and Spencer Pratt announce exciting baby news
Aww, congratulations!
The Hills stars Heidi and Spencer Montag have announced they are expecting a baby later in the year.
The couple, who divided opinion when they appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, announced their news to US Weekly and revealed their baby is due on October 19th.
Spencer revealed the moment Heidi told him the happy news when he said, “The look on her face, I can’t even describe it. She was literally glowing. I thought she was about to say she made muffins or banana bread.”
Heidi then added, "I started crying and he embraced me."
The couple went on to add that they've wanted to extend their family for the last three years, but work commitments have delayed the process. Heidi said, "I wanted a baby three years ago. Spencer was a little hesitant. Then one thing after another came up. We had work obligations, like Celebrity Big Brother in the UK,which I did not want to be pregnant for. I’m actually really thankful we waited. I thought I was ready in my twenties, but with everything we had going on, it just wouldn’t have been a good situation for us."
Spencer then added, "Agreed. I think I’m ready. I know Heidi is ready!”
The couple first shot to fame on popular MTV reality show The Hills back in 2006 with Spencer quickly becoming the 'villian' of the show.
They then flew to the UK in 2013 to appear on Celebrity Big Brother alongside Rylan Clark-Neal, before returning to the show last year for the 'All stars Vs New Stars' series.

Heidi and Spencer's aren't the only The Hills stars to be expecting a baby in 2017. Both Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port also announced their pregnancies earlier in the year.
Firstly, LC revealed to fans she was expecting a child with her husband William Tell in a cute post on Instagram. Sharing a snap of her baby scan, Lauren wrote, 'Happy New Year! I have a feeling 2017 is going to be the best year yet...'
Whitney Port then announced she was expecting a baby back in Febrary. Sharing a snap of herself holding her small bump, Whitney wrote, 'Whitney took to Instagram to share her news, with a cute snap of her tiny baby bump. She captioned the shot with, "Oh hey! Just standing by the window in my underwear, with a BABY in my belly!!! DM me if you know what I'm supposed to do with this thing for however many years I'm supposed to be in charge. Check out my blog for a little letter from me & Timmy and for more behind the scenes of this crazy journey!!!! We are sooooo excited!!!!'
Fellow cast member Audrina Patridge welcomed her daughter Kirra Max with her husband Corey Bohan in 2016 and Kristan Cavallari has three sons with her husband Jay Cutler, Camden, Jaxon and Sailor.
