Youth charity 'devastated' after second minibus theft
A fundraising page has been set up
For the second time in a year, a Hampshire children's charity has been targeted by thieves.
A minibus, owned by Youth Options, was taken from their centre in Andover at the end of last month.
Last April, another one of their vehicles was taken and later found burnt out in the New Forest.
The vehicle takes disadvantaged children and young people on activities and day trips.
In a statement on their website, Youth Options said: "For the second time in a year, almost to the day, we have had one of our minibuses stolen from our centre in Andover by thieves.
"We had hoped in good conscience that the thieves would return it to us, but unfortunately that has not been the case, nor have we been able to locate it.
"We are devastated by the news.
"Not only will this incur costs to the charity, but it will also impact our ability to support children and young people across the county."
The charity's fundraising page can be found here.
