Woman airlifted to hospital
A woman has been airlifted to hospital after suffering a back injury on the Isle of Wight
Coastguards located the 54-year-old at Thorness on Saturday morning.
As she had suffered a back injury, it was arranged for her to be flown by coastguard helicopter to St Mary’s Hospital, Newport.
Also attending the scene were Needles coastguard members and the Cowes RNLI lifeboat.
