Vandals wreck tourist attraction

Southsea Model Village posted on Facebook to say rail track has been ripped up, windows kicked in and trees uprooted.

The attraction, off Eastney Esplanade, was broken into at approximately 4.30am on Sunday morning.

Co-owner Mark Wilson said: "I was devastated. We've put so much effort in during lockdown getting the village ready for customers and now this.

"As if the past year hasn't been hard enough, we now have to put this right.

"Thank-you to all of our supporters who have donated to our GoFundMe page to help buy a better security system"
