Jubilee celebrations continue across the south

Thousands of street parties are taking place

The partying continues this weekend for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Churchgoers and people in the Hampshire village of Denmead have knitted and crocheted around 2,800 red, white and blue flowers to create bunting for All Saints Church.

They've been cascaded from the church's porch into the garden and road for today's village street party (Saturday 4 June 2022).

Reverend Emma Racklyeft says us the Jubilee's created a real community spirit after a tough couple of years.

Tonight, it's turn of the entertainment world to pay their respects and honour the monarch's 70-year reign.

Queen, Sir Rod Stewart, Diana Ross and Celeste are among the line-up for a Buckingham Palace party and concert.

Princes Charles and William will address the 22,000 strong crowd, too.
