Homes evacuated during "suspicious" fire in Gosport
The blaze spread from two cars to a house
A fire which spread to a house from two cars in Gosport is believed to have been started deliberately.
Police and firefighters were called to Gazelle Close in Rowner shortly before 7.30am on Sunday.
Neighbouring homes had to be evacuated.
No one was injured in the blaze, but a cat was given oxygen before being taken to a vet.
Station manager Jason Boh from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said: "Our crews worked quickly and efficiently to extinguish the fire before it spread to neighbouring properties.
"Working closely with our emergency services partners we were able to safely evacuate residents and ensure there were no injuries."
