Test runs are being carried out ahead of winter
On what's expected to be one of the hottest days of the month, don't be shocked if you see gritters on the roads of West Sussex later.
We're not due a cold snap - the county council's sending 19 trucks out on test runs ahead of the winter.
Last year, crews used 7,400 tonnes of salt on over 2,500 miles of roads across the county.
