Footage shows 'reckless' man riding on back of fire engine in Gosport
A spokesperson from the fire service said it could have led to "serious injuries or worse"
A man has been branded as 'reckless' by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue after he was seen riding on the back of a fire engine in Gosport.
Video footage shows the man jumping onto the vehicle in Forton Road on Thursday afternoon (30th November) and hitching a lift for around six minutes.
A spokesperson for HIWFRS said: “This was reckless behaviour which could have led to serious injuries or worse.
"We know that most people understand that this kind of behaviour is dangerous and would not copy it.”
