Five boys arrested after teenager stabbed in Southampton
Police are continuing to investigate the attack earlier this month
Police have arrested five boys after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in a street in Southampton.
The victim was found with stab wounds to his torso and a head injury after being attacked in Station Road in Netley on April 14th.
He was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.
Hampshire Police said a 15-year-old boy, three 16-year-old boys and a 17-year-old boy have all been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
The 17-year-old was found with stab wounds to his torso and an injury to his head following the attack in Netley.
The five boys have since been released on police conditional bail pending further police enquiries.
Police have confirmed that patrols will take place around Netley and in the area of Hamble School.
