Network Rail says the industrial action will close half of all train lines in Britain
Rail passengers across the south are being warned of severe disruption during next week's three-day train strike.
RMT members are due to walk out next Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
No South Western Railway services will serve Bournemouth or Portsmouth on those days.
Services linking Portsmouth and Southampton will also be suspended on both South Western and Great Western Railway.
Southern is also expecting journeys to be severely affected.
More than 40,000 staff are expected to walk out in a row over pay and redundancies.
