Burnt out car found in New Forest
Police investigating after vehicle destroyed by fire
The remains of a Kia Sportage have been discovered this morning at a New Forest beauty spot (28 Nov).
Charred remains of the car appeared sometime overnight on open forest land near the Godshill car park.
A Hampshire Police officer at the scene did not confirm where the vehicle had come from, or if it had been involved in an incident.
Criminals are known to use the New Forest to dump stolen cars before deliberately setting them alight to destroy any evidence.
