Arrest following 'vape spiking' at Isle of Wight Festival
A woman needed medical treatment after being taken ill
Police have made an arrest after an alleged vape spiking incident at the Isle of Wight Festival.
A 26-year-old woman needed medical treatment after falling ill at the music event in Seaclose Park in Newport last Saturday (June 17th).
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police said the woman had used a vape that had been offered to her by a man.
A 51-year-old man from Rochester has been arrested in Kent on suspicion of administering a poison or noxious substance with intent.
He remained in custody as of midday on Friday.
