Katy Perry gets 'arrested' trying to vote naked
It was part of the 'Everyone Votes campaign'.
First Katy Perry posted a teaser on Instagram just saying, "TOMORROW, I USE MY BODY AS CLICK BAIT TO HELP CHANGE THE WORLD".
Then she posted a photo of her being arrested naked as she tried to vote.
Don't worry though Katy hasn't really been arrested, it was all part of a parody video she has filmed for Funny or Die, the film production company set up by Will Ferrell.
In the video the 'Dark Horse' singer can be seen turning up to vote wearing just a nightshirt with a stars and stripes print.
"I've briefly scanned the constitution" the 31-year-old starts, "and nowhere does it say you can't just roll out of bed and come to the polls in whatever state you woke up in."
However after a while it transpires that the popstar sleeps naked, ripping off her nightshirt she promptly gets arrested by some nearby police officers.
Katy then gets bundled off into a police car and finds herself sitting next to naked Community actor Joel McHale who just says, "you too?"
The video ends with the car driving off as Katy shouts "scratch that, gotta wear clothes. My bad! See you at the polls November 8th!"
This unusual video has been filmed as part of Funny Or Die's 'Everyone Votes campaign' encouraging the American public to get out there and vote, preferably fully dressed!
