Weather warning for snow and ice this weekend

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas- with weather warnings in place for snow and ice across East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.

The Met Office has the yellow alert in force from 9pm on Friday, and it won't lift until late on Saturday morning.

Temperatures could drop as low as minus two degrees, with warnings that ice could form on roads.

Drivers are being asked to take extra care and there's a risk of injury from falling.

But some sunshine on Saturday could help thaw any icy patches that form overnight.

Forecasters think next week's going to be cold too- with highs of just six degrees on Monday.
