Two charged after Cleethorpes robbery

Shop staff were reportedly threatened with a weapon on Saturday

A man and a woman have been charged after staff in a shop in Cleethorpes were allegedly threatened with a weapon.

It happened on Saturday (June 12) on Grimsby Road. Several items were stolen from the shop during the incident.

The 33-year-old man has been charged with robbery and possession of bladed article and appeared at Grimsby Magistrates Court today (June 14).

The 30-year-old woman has been charged with handling stolen goods and was released to appear at court at a later date.

Humberside Police are now appealing for any witnesses to get in touch.
