Teenager arrested in Grimsby on suspicion of attempted murder

Police say the 19-year-old was arrested in connection with a suspected stabbing in Holton-Le-Clay

A 19-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, in connection with a suspected stabbing in Holton-Le-Clay.

The teenager was arrested in Grimsby last night, and remains in police custody.

Police were called to reports of a man in his 20s, being found wounded in the Louth Road area of Holton-Le-Clay at around 5.30 pm yesterday (14/11).

He was taken to hospital in a serious condition, where he's now recieving treatment.

Officers from Lincolnshire Police carried out local searches, and the Force says that a police presence will remain in the area while they continue their enquiries.

No-one else has been reported injured.

Police are now appealing for witnesses, or anyone who captured CCTV or dash cam footage.
