A man is receiving treatment for a life-threatening injury to his head

Police are investigating a serious assault in Hull after a man was reportedly attacked in the early hours of Sunday morning. (Sunday 11th September)

Officers are appealing for help to identify these men after another man is reported to have been attacked yesterday.

A 37-year-old man was waiting for a taxi outside of Horner’s Bar on Anlaby Road, Hull with his partner at approximately 12:40am when the two men are believed to have walk towards them from the direction of Ferensway.

A verbal altercation is thought to have taken place and the man is believed to have been punched.

He was taken to hospital to receive treatment for a life-threatening injury to his head.

The two men are thought to have then fled the scene heading back towards Ferensway, Hull.

Police are asking anyone who knows anything to get in touch with them.
