A man who died in a fatal collision near Pocklington has been named by his family.

44-year-old Daniel Stephenson from West Yorkshire sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene when his Ducati motorcycle lost control and left the road at around 11.50am on Sunday 2nd April.

Police are asking for anyone with any information to come forward and contact them.

His family continue to be supported by specialist trained officers and partnering agencies. Humberside Police said:

"We ask for their privacy to be respected at this incredible difficult time as they come to terms with their loss.

"We are appealing for anyone who may have dashcam footage or who witnessed the collision to contact us on our non-emergency number 101, quoting log 176 of 2 April".
