Man taken to hospital after collision in Hull

A man's been taken to hospital after it's believed he was involved in a collision in Hull this morning.

An ambulance member of staff spotted him just before 7 o clock this morning.

One person was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary.

Emergency services have been carrying investigation at the scene on Ferensway.

It led to a road closure and major traffic delays this morning.

The cordon has since been lifted.

A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said:

“An ambulance service member of staff came across an injured male believed to have been involved in a road traffic collision at 6.49am this morning.

"An additional ambulance was dispatched to the scene and one person was conveyed to Hull Royal Infirmary.”
